Silicone Solutions… Boundless Possibilities
Silicone Intermediate
Silicone intermediate is produced through hydrolysis (or alcoholysis) and cracking of silicone monomers.
Xylora silicone intermediate series includes linear or cyclic siloxane oligomers such as hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane (D3), octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4), decamethylcyclopentasiloxane (D5), and dimethylcyclosiloxane mixture (DMC).
Silicone intermediates are the raw materials for the synthesis of silicone rubber, silicone oil, and silicone resin, and are widely used in the electronics, electrical, chemical, construction, textile, and medical industries.
