Xylora hydrophilic fumed silicas are synthetic, amorphous fumed silica powder with BET surface area from 150 to 380 m2/g. It is a nanomaterial with strong hygroscopicity(absorbing moisture). It is can be wetted by water, and dispersed in water forming a suspension.

Xylora fumed silicas are produced by flame without superficial treatment.

Xylora Hydrophobic fumed silicas are based on hydrophilic fumed silica powder products after-treated with HMDS (hexamethyldisilazane) and DDS (Dimethyldichlorosilane) based superficial treatment, or structure modified.
