Titanium Dioxide Pigment
is brilliant in all kinds of everyday applications.
Titanium dioxide pigment (chemical formula: TiO2) is an inorganic white pigment found in an array of end uses. It’s the mainstay of our range and Chevell markets rutile titanium dioxide pigment uses a proprietary chloride process technology for coating and plastics industry.
Odorless and absorbent, TiO2 has a high refractive index – meaning it has excellent light scattering capabilities. Ideal for inclusion in a variety of consumer and industrial products. TiO2 is particularly well suited to applications that need to deliver high levels of opacity, brightness and ultraviolet (UV) protection.
BLR-895
COATINGS GRADE TITANIUM DIOXIDE RUTILE MANUFACTURED BY THE CHLORIDE PROCESS
BLR-895 pigment is a coatings grade titanium dioxide pigment manufactured by the chloride process. It is recommended for a range of coatings applications.
BLR-895 has outstanding dispersion performance, dispersing quickly and easily. It also has excellent opacity and gloss, and delivers a brilliant whiteness with a clean blue tone. With its carefully selected inorganic surface coating, BLR-895 pigment provides a high level of weatherability, making it flexible across both interior and exterior applications.
RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS
- Interior architectural coatings
- Exterior architectural coatings
